A time capsule unearthed during the improvement work in Southwick Square is now on display in the Manor Cottage Heritage Centre. The capsule was buried below the inaugural stone laid into the pond in April 1961. See https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-65814621
The capsule together with its contents is now on display in the heritage centre, which is open every Saturday morning from 10.30 to 12.30. Eventually it will be reburied with a new capsule containing modern day items. So pop along to see it while you can.
